RULES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES
By using the space, I agree, both for myself and for anyone I invite into the space, to the following:
All Clients, Customers, Guests, etc.
We reserve the right to update these Rules, Policies, and Procedures at any time without notice.
Service providers and their clients must sign and/or initial the: Hold Harmless; Release of Liability; and Rules, Policies, and Procedures documents BEFORE using any equipment.
Please do not wear dirty and/or wet shoes in the studio. There are plenty of seating and shoe storage options at the entryway.
No shirtless people, please.
DO NOT drop, toss, throw, or otherwise mishandle any of the equipment.
If you/your client cannot deadlift without dropping the bar, you must use the silencer pads. Blocks are available to elevate the lifter if the pads raise the bar too high.
Likewise, if you cannot gently put your dumbbells or other equipment down, please place the silencer pads in such a way that they absorb the force of the equipment falling.
Your station must be returned to neutral BEFORE your reservation ends. A cleaning fee of $10 may be incurred for failing to adhere to this policy. Neutral is defined as:
All equipment in its original storage location;
Folding squat racks may be up or down, but if up the locking pin must be in place;
Folding benches may be anywhere within the confines of your station.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and for any reason. This includes your clients, prospects, co-workers, and/or guests.
No sign of chalk. If you use chalk, it must be completely cleaned up before your reservation ends.
No one under the age of 16 may enter the training stations or warm-up area, nor may they use/handle any of the fitness equipment.
Training clients under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present. Additional waivers may be required.
Please ignore any dogs you encounter unless given express permission by their owner.
Some of the fans aren’t completely centered over the training stations. We don’t want to talk about it.
This is a place of kindness. If you cannot be kind, you cannot be here.
This includes mean, derogatory, offensive, insulting, or demeaning words directed at any person or people, whether present or not, and regardless of whether you say “I was only joking.”
You may borrow equipment: from an empty station with permission from an employee (in case there's a session about to start); and from an in-use station with permission from the trainer.
You may bring dumbbells, barbell collars, and extra weight plates to your station from the warm-up area. Everything else must be used IN the warm-up area.
Everything borrowed from another area must be returned to its original place before the end of your reservation.
The warm-up area is free for your clients to warm up for, cool down from, or finish their workout, but use must be in conjunction with a station reservation. They may use it immediately before, during (if special equipment is needed), or immediately after.
